Description
Automatic sprinkler system is for accommodation on ship, it’s a automatic fire detection, alarm and fire fighting system. According to the relevant regulations of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, automatic sprinkler systems must be equipped on passenger ships with a certain number of passengers. Wet pipe type sprinkler system is widely used because it can effectively reduce the fire in the living place.

1. Regulation 10,ChapterII-2 of International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea,1974.
2. Chapter 8 of International Code for Fire Safety Systems, as Amended by MSC.327(90)、MSC.339(91).
3. Resolution A.800(19) Revised Guidelines for Approval of Sprinkler Systems Equivalent to that Referred to in SOLAS Regulation II-2/12,and as Amended by MSC.265(84)、MSC.284(86).
